Image is the default for smooth scrolling — each page is flattened to a picture. Choose Selectable text to keep a real, screen-reader-friendly text layer, but it can be heavy to scroll on dense PDFs.

Best for PDFs with selectable text on a solid background. Text over photos or coloured areas may show a cover box; scanned PDFs have no text to convert.

Features

How it works

  1. Drop a PDF — it's read in your browser, images and layout included, and nothing is uploaded.
  2. Choose OpenDyslexic, a text colour and a background colour; the preview redraws the page live.
  3. Download a new PDF that looks like the original but with a dyslexia-friendly font.

Your files never leave this page

Every conversion runs entirely in your browser using WebAssembly. There is no upload, no server-side processing, no analytics, and no cookies. Open DevTools → Network during the operation and you will see zero outbound traffic.
